Branding

The Texas Clay Festival is an annual event held in Gruene, Texas, that celebrates the art of pottery and clay work. The festival features a wide array of ceramic artists showcasing their creations. It also features live demonstrations and opportunities for visitors to purchase pottery directly from artists. It's a popular event for both artists and pottery enthusiasts, offering a vibrant atmosphere and a chance to engage with the local ceramics community. In October 2024, the festival will be celebrating its 32nd anniversary.

Forgoing a traditional brand, what Texas Clay Festival does instead is have themed posters and/or illustrations every year promoting the event. There’s a shared factor between these posters and illustrations: they all prominently feature a teapot. Inspired by this, I tried my hand at creating a unified brand for the Texas Clay Festival.
